We are looking for a Service & Experience Designer Intern to support multidisciplinary teams in designing human-centered services and end-to-end experiences. This internship is ideal for designers who want to grow in service design, experience design, and system thinking.
As a Service & Experience Designer Intern, you will support senior designers, researchers, and strategists across discovery and delivery phases.
You will contribute to research activities, service mapping, experience definition, and the documentation of insights that inform strategic decisions about the design of new or existing products and services.
This role is suited for students or recent graduates in Service Design, Experience Design, Interaction Design, or similar fields, who are interested in understanding how services operate beyond interfaces.
You will support the team in:
Build research scripts, insight reports
Mapping user journeys, service blueprints, and ecosystem maps
Analyzing touchpoints and service interactions across channels
Identifying friction points, opportunities, and improvement areas
Supporting co-design workshops and collaborative sessions
Documenting service concepts, insights, and design rationales
You will:
Support qualitative research activities (interviews, observations, usability tests)
Help organize and synthesize research findings
Contribute to clear storytelling of insights and experience decisions
You will work closely with:
Service & Experience Designers
UX Researchers
Strategists
Developers and Product teams
This will give you exposure to how service design informs strategy, delivery, and organizational decisions.
Student or recent graduate in Service Design, Experience Design, Interaction Design, or related fields
Strong interest in service design and human-centered systems
Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Figma, or similar
Ability to think in terms of journeys, systems, and relationships
Curiosity, attention to detail, and openness to feedback
Good communication skills in Italian (English is a plus)
